Why focus on the Golden Triangle?

It’s like a dark nuclear reactor, releasing oppression over Asia.

  1. Bloody suppression from syndicates and governments in Laos, Myanmar & China

  2. World’s largest meth and second-largest heroin production zone

  3. Hopelessly deepening poverty for half of the population and fabulous wealth for the untouchable few

  4. System-wide corruption and injustice

  5. Sexual exploitation and slavery of children as young as 5 years old

The Golden Triangle is the zone where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge at the Mae Kong river. For centuries, this region has been radiating violence, drugs, and human trafficking to all of Southeast Asia.

Children & Young People
are the most affected.

  • 70% of Laos has to live on less than $2 a day. Many are just trying to physically survive no matter what they have to do. These kids tell us they can’t even dream when they’re hungry.

  • School officials report increasing suicides and the need for medication. Deep-poverty kids struggle so hard to survive that they can’t see hope for their future lives.

  • SE Asian kids lose themselves for an average of 10 hours each day scrolling on their phones. This opens their minds to be programmed by media lies and pornography from young ages.

  • Their parents are often illiterate and troubled by addiction, debt and illiteracy. themselves, leaving them unprotected. Traffickers and Drug syndicates run protected multi-billion-dollar industries praying on the unguarded. They use kind-looking middle-aged women as well as young thugs to put kids in vulnerable circumstances to make them easy prey.

We have a plan for the kids and it’s working…

  1. Organize kids into groups for support.

  2. Help them break free spiritually.

  3. Get them the protection, skills, and education they need to become overcomers.

  4. Empower them to lead their friends and families into a better place.

  5. Cheer madly.

Over 10,000 kids are engaged face-to-face each week through Emerge partner ministries in SE Asia. Many are from families where no one has ever finished high school. Kids clubs organize them for systematic growth physically, spiritually, and in their mindset.

Scholarships will send them to high school, then university. They will lead their families out of poverty, because someone initiated change for them.
